On 12 July 2024, in collaboration with the ReSpirE association for sustainable renewable energy, companies from the renewable energy sector—including solar panel investors and developers—joined ICS as part of a pilot membership. The goal is to ensure that the products contributing to the energy transition are manufactured under fair and sustainable social and environmental conditions. Together, united around a shared approach and a common standard, these actors are engaging their suppliers in the demanding audit and transformation pathways developed by ICS, aligned with the key principles of the UN, the OECD and the ILO. At the end of the pilot, ICS and the participating companies of the “Renewable Energy Working Group”, created for this purpose, will draw conclusions on the conditions and future implementation of the Duty of Vigilance within the sector’s supply chains.

Corsica Sole is an independent French solar power producer and a European leader in energy storage. A fast-growing company, it currently operates more than 150 MWp of solar power plants and 360 MWh of energy storage, while developing a project portfolio exceeding 3 GW. An innovator in the renewable energy sector, Corsica Sole is also expanding into green hydrogen production. The company develops, builds, finances and operates its own projects across France and throughout Europe. Drawing on its island origins, the company has acquired unique expertise in grid stabilisation and in the integration of renewable energies, even in complex environments. True to its responsible approach, Corsica Sole favours the installation of its facilities on disused or brownfield sites, which it rehabilitates to create low-carbon energy production areas. By combining renewable energy and technological innovation, the company adapts its know-how to each local context, delivering effective solutions that drive the energy transition and actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
CVE was born from a shared commitment to meet the energy needs of businesses, local authorities, and the agricultural sector, in line with their environmental challenges. Through its actions, the group aims to contribute to the energy transition and has chosen to develop a model based on the production and direct sale of local renewable energy. While CVE’s entrepreneurial project naturally has an economic dimension, creating shared wealth—particularly with its employees—it is also collective, human, and a source of environmental and social value. We strive to make it socially fair, economically viable, and ecologically responsible. Our goal is to build a sustainable world where meeting our clients’ energy needs does not compromise the future of the planet or its inhabitants. CVE innovates and designs the energy models of tomorrow, serving society and fostering the development of the men and women who bring them to life.
GreenYellow, a committed player in decentralized Energy Transition
Present in more than 15 countries across Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Austral zone, GreenYellow has pursued a simple ambition since its creation in 2007: to make the energy transition accessible to the entire C&I sector.
Born in France, the company quickly understood that decarbonization could only succeed by bringing energy closer to those who consume it. This is why it chose a decentralized model, built on proximity, performance and innovation.
Over time, GreenYellow has become much more than a provider of energy solutions: it is now a true integrator and operator, owning and operating its assets, and able to support C&I corporates and local authorities in the deep transformation of their energy use. In a world where the cost and availability of energy have become strategic issues, the company is committed to delivering robust, measurable and sustainable solutions.
Its approach is built around three complementary pillars:
- Decentralized solar photovoltaic production: generating green, local and competitive solar energy.
- Energy efficiency: reducing consumption and electrifying uses to decarbonize activities.
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): storing energy through innovative battery solutions to gain autonomy and flexibility.
This global vision enables GreenYellow to offer a platform of integrated decarbonization offers, from studies and design to maintenance and operation, while covering 100% of the investment (0€ Capex). For B2B clients, this means the ability to move forward with no financial risk, supported by contracts that guarantee performance and availability over the long term—an immediate way to reduce energy costs while lowering carbon footprint.
Today, GreenYellow supports industrial sites, retail networks, logistics platforms and tertiary buildings alike. From retail to agrifood, from pharma-chemicals to automotive and up to aeronautics, the company works with SMEs as well as major international groups. It deploys multi-site, multi-solution programs that sustainably transform the way energy is consumed.
By combining technical and operational expertise, a responsible model and long-term support, GreenYellow enables more players each day to embrace decarbonization and build an energy system that is smarter, more local… and resolutely future-oriented.
ReSpirE Energies is an association for the exchange of best practices, reflection and the development of common tools to reduce the environmental and social impacts of renewable energies.
This association provides a shared space for stakeholders in the field to implement existing regulations, but above all to go beyond them in order to become an exemplary sector from a social and environmental point of view.
Reducing environmental and social impacts is now a key issue for renewable energy projects, both in terms of local acceptance and financing.
ReSpirE Energies supports and promotes the initiative to conduct audits on the PV module value chain with ICS for greater transparency and traceability in the sector.
