We are delighted to share with you the 2022 ICS’s members achievements regarding human and environmental rights in their supply chain throughtout what was a very European year for CSR: CS3D proposal and CSRD validation.
Highlights:
-ICS 70 brands met 37 times for more than 3 cumulated weeks of CSR collective thinking and active cooperation.
-4 642 audits were conducted in 70 countries followed by corrective action plans, implying 2,7 M workers.
-After follow-up audits, 76% of factories (social) and 89% (environmental) showed improvement with a compliance rate rising by 11 points.
-Beyond regular audit cycle and trainings, three new tools were successfully launched to enhance supply chain mapping, data collection and compliance: the cascaded factory profile, the environmental checklist and the primary production audit standard.
